    What do i need to start playing Halo 3?

    I'm starting to really like video games and halo 3 is a game that i want to start playing. what's the difference between xbox live and xbox 360? which one do i need? Help me to get started, lol! And yes i'm a girl who is not to familiar with the video gaming world=)
