alright in halo 3 i got the VERY,VERY first skull in seirea 117?

and nothing popped up. no achievements unlocked. ( the very first time i played it) then i beat the game and now i go back and when i pick it up nothin happens at all.so do i have to start over or what?

You have to be in NORMAL, Heroic or Legendary to get skulls.

If your in Easy they wont work.

u hav to be on heroic, legendary.

where did you find it?
if you find it at the "cliff", then you found blind skull which won't make you earn achievemnt.
If you find it somewhere on the ledge at the end of seirea 117, then you found (I can't remember what the name) skull which will make you earn achievement.
By the way, easy difficutly won't effect anything.

I'm guessing you got the Blind skull (Also known as Silver skull).

These types of skulls don't pop up achievements. Check link for more info.
