Are they making a halo liveaction movie?

i love halo just as much as any other teenage boy. Does any1 know if theyre making a liveaction movie of it?

and thats official

in Nov 2007 plans for a movie were cancelled after 2 design teams could not work together.

There have been rumors of a new attempt but nothing official has been done
