Bungies' Halo 3: Recon?

If anybody knows, can someone explain to me waht the new Halo 3: Recon game is going to be and is it a game that you can get from the shops or a downloadable content in Halo 3??

Also, what is Halo: Chronicles

Halo 3: Recon is going to be a new game in the Halo series. It's about a new Spartan (not master chief) who lands on covenant infested planets and scouts all the details about it, does missions with stealth. I don't think they have a release date on it yet. As for Halo chronicles I have no idea what it is unless they changed the name of Halo Wars. Which is going to be like Command and Conquer 3.
