Can 3 people play firefight on Halo 3: ODST without using xbox live?

I recently bought Halo 3: ODST and I can't figure out why I can't play co-op with my friends Brady and Tyler.
How do you play with 3 people on the same t.v? Is it different settings?

no only two for each console but system link it!!!! lol
