Can a halo 3 lone wolves game start with 5 people?

i mean like if theres only 5 people playing lone wolves in the whole system will it start the game (because my connection has a weird problem with lone wolves and will only connecto to about 5 people)

yes it can. usually it starts with six people but when you are on the game setup sometimes someone quits and it ends being 5 people instead of 6.
