can you play halo 3 matchmaking on odst?

if im on odst can i do matchmaking with the halo 3 maps? or would i have to switch disks

i think you will have to switch disks but halo 3 odst comes with a disk that has all halo 3 maps plus 3 new ones

swap discs since its a different game but it will probably have its own new map set and mabey some maps from other Halo games. the only thing i have read so far involving Odst with halo 3 matchmaking is that it has the rest of the mythic maps with it if u pre order if i'm not mistaken
