can't pick up skulls in halo 3?

i cant pick up any skulls they are simpsly not there
i did turn on campaign scoring but the skull still isnt where its meant to be
help please

Are you starting at the very beginning of the mission? or are you entering at midway points? You have to start the mission from the beginning in order for the skulls to be there. And you have to have it on normal, heroic or legendary - not on easy.

If you are doing these 2 things - then I don't know what else it could be.

Most skulls are only placed on the map if you:

A) start from the begining of the level

B) play on normal difficulty or above
