Changing My Armor In Halo 3 Live?

My friend told me I could change my armor on Halo 3 Live, but he didn't say how to specifically, I know most of the different armor you need to unlock, but isn't there some you get unlocked by default? Thanks in advance.

yeah its pretty simple try looking around in the options and menus in multiplayer you will find it... halo 3 is old news anyway no one plays that anymore..
