do you think the halo movie will go ahead and be ready for 2009?

a halo film is in the making, yes, based on the halo series from the x-box and x-box 360, and it's suposed to come out in 2009. but there was ment to be some delays and someone dropped out, WB i think, but last hting i heard was fox had bought the filmig rights and said the film will go on. any news on it? also, when does need for speed pro street come out in the uk? november 14th or 23rd? i think it was 23rd then they changed it to 14th? anyone know anything more?

Not anytime soon. Project has been shelved by producers.
The movie now apparently is "dead" and will be awhile before it is actually made. It was orignally to be made by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings trilogy), but that is no longer the case.

The release of the newest video game HALO 3, might stir up some intrest though, You'll have to wait and see. It appears that one of the major problems is the budget - it would just cost too much to be made properly. I am sure it will be eventually made, but it doesnt appear to be anytime soon.

According to my 13-year-old Halo & WOW addicted son, although it was shelved, Fox has now gotten back on with Peter Jackson to make a Halo movie and Gears of War movie. And, yes a WOW movie is expected in 2009.
