Gears of War v.s. Halo ?

At this point, I would look like an idiot for not saying Halo. But if Gears of War was the game that came out on the Xbox back in 2001, GOW would be the better game.

gears of war just doesn't seem that fun as halo ,so.... specifically halo 1 (off topic but i like halo 1 more than 2)
