whats the difference between halo 2 and halo 2 multiplayer map pack?

is the map pack for xbox live and does it have campgain mode?

The multiplayer map pack is a pack of maps for all multiplayer modes. Thus names the multiplayer map pack. It can be used on Xbox Live or for split screen. No it is not a campaign expansion. You must have Halo 2 to use the Halo 2 multiplay map packs. All of those map packs can now be downloaded free on Xbox Live.
