now sometimes i accidentely betray a team mate and get booted. but sometimes it takes 3 betrayals to get booted. why is it sometimes 3 or 1 etc?

well you know one thing the betrayal system on halo 3 isn't the best you must admit. All I know is that it counts how many betrayals you have and if you have a lot more betrayals than the other person you are more likely to get booted. Also I heard the game tries to figure out whether it was an accident or on purpose but no system that I know of can do that yet.
