Halo 3 i got hacked and banned?

When i was offline someone hacked my xboxlive account and cheted exp on my halo 3 account. And then when i came back on my account i had to get my account back and i went on halo 3, and it said i got banned from getting exp for 4 weeks. Is their anyway i can get myself unbanned by talking to a bungie member?
