Halo 3 map packs???????????

I downloaded the mythic and legendary map packs a week ago and it won't let me use them in matchmaking or forge.
I went to the memory part of the hardrive on the dashboard and it says all the mappacks are there. I downloaded the heroic map pack a year ago and it works fine but the others just won't.
Help?
