Halo 3: ODST or Call of Duty: World at War?

To all who wish to answer this question, should I get Halo 3: ODST or Call of Duty: World at War? The thing is, for my birthday I am going to to get an Xbox 360 and it uses up most of my birthday money. With the leftover money, I can only buy one game. Before I was in between Halo 3: ODST and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but since Modern Warfare 2 releases after my birthday, I am left with either Halo or World at War. I have never owned a Halo game so this will be my first, and for World at War I did own it; but for Wii. So playing it on the 360 would be like a new experience. Please tell me what you think I should do.

Halo 3 odst! That is going the be one of the best games this year! It is going to have a good campaign, good firefight, and a good multiplayer! I cannot wait for that game!

you should get modern warefare 2 but if it comes out after your birthday
never mind
world at war is alright but modern warefare 1 is better all over
the wii is alright but on the 360 world at war is rubbish
