Halo 3 problem?!?!?!?

In Halo 3 when i play matchmaking with other people and when they talk. I can hear them on they tv and my headset.I dont want to hear them on the tv becuz some are noisy.How can i turn it off so i can only hear them through headset only?

Press the xbox button in the center of your controller to bring up the guide. Go all the way to the right blade that should be "settings" or something of that sort. Go under "preferences" and select voice. Click "hear through headset" and make sure that it's NOT clicked on anything else.
