How do i unlock the Recon Armor permutation? there are more and more rumors about having it unlocked by doing it within the level "The Covenant"
Other Rumors, say that Having all of the achievments, and being a grade 4 general in matchmaking, unlocks this.
another suggests beating the Meta-Campain, with all the skulls activated, is this true?
i mean, doing a certain action within "The Covenant"
a Bungie Employee leaked a hint, i forget what,
"meh your all doing it way way way wrong.
load up teh game wait till your about 89% loaded then unplug your 360 wait ten min the plug it back in it will glitch out giving you all the armors and acheivments"
Another way to unlock the Armors. please confirm and tell me
"I think most of these ideas are wrong, and I have good reason too.
Firstly the armour can't be Bungie only as I have seen at least 3 people whom have unlocked it and they don't work for Bungie. Though I haven't seen the proof that they have they have been backed up by very credible Halo community members.
The other point that would mean that all this 'grunt in the ghost' 'marine suicide' 'secret area' stuff is way off is that all of the people I've seen whom have it and talk about it say they have no idea how they unlocked it. They just went to their appearance one day and it was there. I think they would remember following a grunt in a ghost to see where he leads, or climbing a rock wall and doing something with a marine hidden up there. It's possible that the armour is unlocked via something a little bit weird that they did while playing the game, hell we all do some strange stuff just for fun but it isn't going to be something overly complex. "
"My personal idea was that the gun with a trigger that you couldn't fire was the Halos themself, that you aren't the one that fires them but Johnson does. I thought that maybe if you waited around on The Covenant when you're supposed to be stopping Truth long enough you would get some sort of 'mission failed' but again if this did happen, then someone would remember it"
other ppl say it is unlocked by getting killed by every weapon a certain amount of times in matchmaking. now i dont encourage getting killed, and lowering ur rank on live though, but plz confirm
