How do you kill the scarab in Halo 3. I don't what to destroy on the scarab to destroy the scarab. I killed all the people on the ship and need to destroy the ship. How do you destroy the scarab?

First, fire at the legs (joints). Then it will go down and an alarm will sound. Then go to the rear of it and go inside. Then go up the first ramp so you are on the outside of it, and go around to the back. You'll see a blue power supply. Fire at it until it is destroyed and flashing red, then jump off quickly, stand back, and watch it go BOOM!
