That depends on the game variant. In lone wolves, a good strategy is to use the BR whenever possible to kill from long ranges as the new update to the bashing system is horrible (you both die). Other good strategies include finding good and protected spots and not just rushing in and dying. In team games communication is important. Also don't get frustrated by the many campers who find a weapon and just crouch around corners.
