Help! getting to lvl 50 in halo 3!?

I'm currently a lvl 45 brigadier in halo 3. (as humbly as I can put it) I am fairly good at halo 3. Aiming, moving, strategies, whatnot. I wanna get to fifty because... well just cause. Hard players are fun players.

One time, I accidently got matched with two lvl 50's against me; holy crap.

It was on the pit. For about three minutes I didn't encounter one, despite crouch walking and wandering around. Then I started getting sniped from who knows where. When I tracked down one of them, they would't be there, and I would get sniped again because they knew I'd be there.

How are they doing this? What should I be doing? Ayyeee!

Thanks a bunch of kittens,

Ryan

Well, I'm a commander level 37 working on getting to a level 40. My advice for the pit would be to guard the invisibility and then crouch walk around the corner to flank the opponents trying to reach the rocket launcher. The 50's most likely simply rushed to the snipers because snipers will own rockets any day. Against people who know what to do, take invisibility and mauler and own until you reach the over shield. Own from there.

There was obviously a lag if you couldn't see them when you got to them. Either that, or the sniper had the invisibility.

Truth be told, skill doesn't necessarily mean you own at Halo. I can take out almost anyone and I'm only a Lieutenant. I would be higher if I played Halo 3 more often. I haven't been in almost a year.

The crouch walking was good, but think about other options. If your opponents searched the entire map, except where you were, then they used logic reasoning and concluded you were at the only place they didn't check.

If you really want to know, Lonewolf and Doubles are hard compared to Team Slayer. It is much easier to rank up there. I can rank up 10 levels easily in less than two hours!

haha, probably they are good, or they know the map. what u have to do is to get a warthog or banshee, go around find them, road kill them. make them quit.
