How Can i Make My Computer run faster for halo 2?

It lag sooo much and i need a solution to the problem... i just got vista and halo 2(pc...duh)and vista runs kinda slow but i need my computer to run faster so itwill work better any ideas?p.s. i already defragged and did a disk clean up...

Can you edit your question to include the amount of memory you have and the processor speed. Go to 'Start', right click 'My Computer' and choose 'Properties.'
