How do I become halo 3 MLG?

I am really good at halo 3 and want to get into MLG so how do I get in the top 10,20,30,40, or 50 list? Do you have to beat one of them and then you take their place? Please answer.
P.S could you give me some skills on fighting them?

MLG is nothing much diffrent it is simply br's and no radar it just takes teamwork and time to find your own of way of playing and to know where the other teams weak spots are. got to Mlgpro.com and watch videos of pro teams and that could give you an idea
