how to get recon armor in halo 3?

I want to know what things can give me the armor and what people have done to obtain it. Here is my list so far.
1. kill yourself with a cone
2. kill yourself with your own sniper bullet
3. make a machinima
4. win a tournement
5. get on bungie favorites multiple times
6. get the most sticks in the world
7. get the most incinerations in the world
8. be a bungie employee
What other things could get you recon or have got someone recon?
