i cant play halo 3 online?

i installed it 2 my hardrive cuz it kept saying it cannot read disc wenever i played but now it wont let me cuz it says i dont have the maps required but it doesnt do th@ wen i play from disc
this makes no sense plz tell me how 2 fix it thx
