I have an Open NAT and still can't connect to friends in Halo 3.?

I have trouble connecting to friends in Halo 3. I checked my settings and did some research and I have an open Nat. What else could it be?

try cleaning your disc. take it out and let it sit for at least an hour, and check for scratches or prints, and clean them.
