i just got halo 3 and my xbox keeps asying unplayable disc it doesnt say it

Ok Im sure you know this but w.e. It has to be for xbox 360. Check for scratches. My friend's ps2 did this because a disk screwed up his (old ps2) and he had to buy a new one. The laser reader might be reading the disk wrong from previous damage. Disks that are scratch might hurt your game console. Buy one of those disk cleaners you put inside of your console. Perhaps the disc is defective. If your x-box works on other games, it's most likely the disc. Take it back and get a different one. It's happened to me for GTA San Andreas.

couple things not sure how much you know so you do have xbox 360 right? if so then check the disc there may be scratches I have had this with 2 games I don't know why but somehow a perfect circle of scratches come almost instantly when you play it. If not I'm sorry I have no clue.
