i made a newxbl account and i had all the halo 3 maps and was wondering how...

All the stuff you buy on one account is locked to that account... sorry you will have to buy them back... or wait for Halo 3: ODST which will have all those map packs included.

I am pretty sure the only way it would work is to have the first xbox live account and the second signed in while playing Halo 3, and have the maps downloaded to your HDD.
I am not sure if they both have to be playing.

If it's on the same xbox hard drive then it should work. If not, you can recover your gamertag to the new xbox and you'll have the maps again.

you have to put points on your account, then buy the maps with the points.
you could also call microsoft and get them to transfer they maps over or jus change the gamer tag on your old one...
