If I get halo 1 for the xbox360 can I play online?

I just got it in the mail and I'm playing it later. Was just wandering if I can play online.

im almost positive you can, might be a little tricky to set up but i think you can

No, all Xbox Live for the original Xbox and all of it's games was shut down in April of this year. Even if you play the Xbox games on the Xbox 360, you still wouldn't be able to access their online portions.

I wasn't even aware that Halo Combat Evolved had any online portions, but then again I never had Xbox Live for the original Xbox in the first place to find out.
