is Gears of War as good as HALO 3?

i just got the 360 and i played HALO 3 and i LOVE it. very fun. should i get gears of war? is it anything like halo 3? is it as good as halo 3? how about graphics? which game has better graphics?

Also what do you think you'll be playing the longest?

Halo 3 or Gears of war or Resident Evil 5 or Grand Theft Auto 4
