Is Halo 3 a good game? Shall I try it? Or not....and wait for Halo Wars? ?

Just want to know what you guys think? I bought my 360 2nd hand a few months ago and it came with COD4 and Halo 3. I tried COD4 first and had been hooked ever since(now playing COD5). Halo 3 has been sitting on the shelf... My questions, I still can't put my COD 5 down and with Halo Wars coming out in 5 weeks time, shall I sell my Halo 3 and wait for the new one? This way I'd get more money for it now and use it to buy the new one. Although not ALWAYS, most of the time the new games are better than the old ones.

I recommend keeping Halo 3. It's different than Call of Duty. It's not the same game, nor does it try. It is a better game in some ways, worse in others. I like Halo 3 online more, but that's just me. I like the realism in Call of Duty 4 more. Call of Duty: World at War isn't as great. I like the WWII time period, and the game introduces a couple of game firsts, which I like, but I like the CoD 4 better.

Halo 3:ODST, I am not sure about yet. Wait on that one. As far as Halo Wars, it is a RTS game. If you like RTS game, then you might want to get it.
