is halo 3 ok for a 13 year old?

i am 13 and want halo 3 for the xbox i couldnt get cod 4 or WaW because my parents think those games are too realistic. But since halo 3 has aliens and not real peolple do you think it is ok for someone my age

I am 13 and I play Halo games, but if your parents wont let you play Call of duty, then I dont think you can play Halo 3.

My parents are crazy and barely allow me to have T rated games (I'm 15 almost 16). I say Halo 3 is pretty ok. It should be rated T because there really isn't any mature concepts in the game. Explain to your parents everything and give them all of the details. Show them some gameplay and tell them that you realize blue blood is fake. If you've seen Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, any super hero movie, Terminator Salvation, and other action movies then Halo 3 will be like a G rated movie. It is a game perfectly suitable for 13 year olds. It's wierd because most of the people I end up playing are like 8 year olds (yeah so if they can handle it then you can).

It depends entirely on you. If you're not bothered by violence, swearing, sex, or gore there's no reason why you shouldn't play them.

As it is Halo 3 is a 15 and those ratings are there for a reason, but I can't say much, I've been playing 18's since I was your age.

If it's the fact that you kill humans that your parents object to they shouldn't argue here, but you need to make sure it's the "realism" and not the violence that they don't like.

Yes i thinks its ok the only problem you could have with it is that it does have a good amount of cursing and you do see some alien blood
