Is it possible for a hunter to follow you around and help you in Halo 3?

My friend has like all armor and all achievements and he says "I'm so good and respected in Halo 3 that a Hunter follows me around and helps me in every single level." I didn't want to be mean I just said "Really?" and he said "Yep!" so i'm asking if it's possible or true.

No that is definitely not true. The only allies avaliable on the Halo 3 campaign are those that are avaliable to everyone. Your friend is no exception.
