is it possible to get the Halo 3 Mythic or Legendary Achievements without xbox live?

hey guys,
ive bought halo 3 ODST, and when i played the multiplayer CD, more achievements got added in Halo 3.
is there a way you can get them without xbox live?
for example one of them is: In any Legendary map get a shotgun spree!
is it possible to get that achievement just with a second player without xbox live? cause it doesnt say "(online)"..

With the purchase of Halo 3: ODST comes a 48 hour Xbox LIVE Gold Membership trial. That should be enough time for you to go and earn those achievements.

No, you need to be in Matchmaking to earn most of the Mythic and Legendary achievements. Sorry.

no im sorry, you need to be in matchmaking online. However, Halo 3 ODST comes with a free 48 hour trial I believe, which would allow you that amount of time to go online and attempt that achievement.
