i made a new account and eveything and keeps popping this up it says matchmaking requires an xbox live membership with permmission to play multiplayer over live?

why does it say that

its not like i have restrictions i was just playing the other day

i dont get it please help

If you made a new account, did you pay for another Gold Membership for that account? A new account doesn't share with another for Gold Membership, each account needs it's own.
