On Halo 3, why can't i get the Hammer Time achievement?

And yes i am doing this on assembly
Twice now i have gotten 5 kills with the gravity hammer and still no achievement. does it have to be 5 kills in a row or sumthing like wtf? also i am doing team mythic so does that have anythnig to do with it.... please tell me why i can't get this achievement.
