Should i get halo 3 or rock band 2?

i am getting gears of war 2 for christmas and i am stuck between buying halo 3 or rock band 2 with gears 2. Which one should i buy with gears 2?

It mostly depends on what kind of video games you like but I would advise you to get Halo especially if you have Xbox live because the online gameplay is just so awesome. It will take years to get bored of it!!!

It all depends on your preference for the videogame.
do you want to rock out to the guitar, drums, and microphone. Or play a 3rd person shooter?

id go with rockband 2 cuz you could always get halo 3 used for cheap or buy it off a friend, so this way you can get ur hands on both games!

Get Halo 3. Its the greatest game you will ever have in your entire life. The greaest campaign, gameplay, online play, you name it Halo 3 has it. This is the only game you cannot live without if you have an Xbox 360. GET THIS GAME!!

halo 3 is the best game for 360, dont listen to these gears of war riders who have no skill in halo, i got halo as my first game for 360 3 months ago and i still play it non stop. and halo 3 is a first person shooter not third, grears 2 is first. ( dont get me wrong gow2 is a really good game too

Halo 3 and gears 2 cancel each other out. They are both story mode shooting games and gears 2 is better btw. Rockband 2 is more diverse, better for friends, and you can play online with it so its better

i would say halo3. earlier in the year it was very popular and still is now, but not AS popular.
ever since recent updates on the game people have started to not play it. these haven't been bad updates just that they have told players they will get things, new maps and achievements, but haven't given players the maps yet.
rock band 2 PERSONALLY i would say a no to. i think the guitar hero series is better. if you do go for rock band 2, maybe consider guitar hero world tour.
