I'm not sure if I should, because I read this review here, and it seems that the author knows what they're talking about. It's a newer review, too. So...
Review:
Halo is an overrated "grey and brown" first person shooter developed by Bungie, and published by Microsoft.
It's characters and plot are praised for being "The most unimaginative things ever to be seen in a video game."
It's community is also very well known for being the only one in existence to be composed of over 93% whiny twelve-year-old children. However, players of the game are also known to be "cool bros", and are usually seen shouting obscenities at other players of the game through their low quality XBox headsets, or typing said obscenities at anyone whose opinion differs from theirs. (They have also been seen downrating comments of said people who don't like their game.)
It's ratings have all been spectacularly high, as many unintelligent people play the game, and websites don't want to lose their viewers. It received a 10/10 from CBG (Cool Bro Gaming), as well as an 11/10 from HD (Hurr Durr).
The series is widely praised for reinventing the FPS genre with its new and exciting features, such as the ones it stole from the Timesplitters series.
It's hardcore gameplay revolves around using blatantly obvious, noskill auto-aim to hold down the attack button and kill things as you run forward through every level. However, unique gameplay features such as shooting and moving make this game one of the best in its genre.
As for maps, they're very well known for being poorly designed garbage, which the developers actually charge $3 a piece for. The map packs (Each costing $10) were a huge success, as they each contained three maps, and no extra gameplay features at all, apart from denying those who didn't buy them access to certain online game modes.
However, I give this game a 0/10. It's an unimaginative piece of trash, and anyone who likes it is just a casualfag.
(This review is unfinished, and will be edited in the near future to add necessary review details. Remember, this is just a preview, but it is made to sum up the full review we will be releasing soon.)
So can anyone tell me if and why I should buy the game? Details would be nice. Thanks.
