So is there or is there not gonna be a halo movie?

I've heard that it's supposed to come out on 2012 but I heard that they cut the fundings to the movie because it was too much, and what was left of the money, they scrapped together to make the halo trailer, you know with the odst's?

Yes, currently the release date is Feb. 13 2012, but it can always change. The animated (anime) Halo movie is out on DVD though.
