steppin razor achievement(halo 3)?

what does it mean to destroy an enemy vehicle with a piece of equipment? I've been trying to figure this out for months. Can someone help?

It means using the items that you activate using the X button. Equipment that could be used for this might be the Trip Mine and possibly the Energy Drain.

But the stepping razor isn't that achievement, Stepping Razor is getting a triple kill with an energy sword on a ranked free-for-all match. The achievement you're speaking of is the We're in for some Chop achievement.
