What does MVP mean in Halo 3 in matchmaking?

I've always assumed it means Most Vicious Player? Or Most Victorious Player? But im probably wrong, does anyone know?

Normally it is the person with the most kills.

Most Valauble Player.
Which means the best player of the last match determined by the last games stats.
It is a very good thing.
