i havent played gears of war....but from watching it loook like a better shooting option then halo. GOW is much more realistic, and therefor more fun in my opinion.

i liked the 1st halo game better,i thought the 2nd game was bit over rated,but did enjoy playing both.

Definatly Halo. Gears of War has no multiplayer options (at least not any good ones). Halo is the best, for Xbox live, and a definate MUST HAVE.

gears of war is heavily overated, halo games kick a**, and the next one is gona be even better (cant wiat for the hornets)

well halo 2 was pretty crappy but online was super fun, but then the standbyers came and modders so gears of war... and the sequel willl probably be cooler than halo 3
