What is your best tactic for Halo Wars in a regular 1 on 1?

Well if you've seen the Halo Wars ViDocs then you'll know that one extremly efficient tactic is to play as Captain Cutter and build an elephant then just churn out infantry and you'll be ready to attack the enemy base with a few minutes.
