whats with the new halo 3 maps?

When halo odst comes out with disk number 2 including all maps cold storage heroic,legendayry and the completing mythic map pack how will i be able to transfer the new mythic maps from the odst game disk to my halo 3? will the odst disk have codes on them or is it different??
