Whats wrong with my Halo 3?

When I put in my Halo 3 at my house on my xbox, I enter matchmaking, get set up with a match, and then it drops the party, like I am booted. When I brought the disc to a friends xbox, it worked fine. We put his disc in mine and it worked fine. Whats wrong?

your internet is probally to slow to hold a connection to the game. i had the same problem. i had to get a new router that was like 100 dollars and a wireless internet adapter for my 360
