Why cant I get my armor color in Halo 3 forge?

Is there a way to make it like lone wolves, where my armor is unique? I really want to get a screenshot with my real armor, but how in forge?

the forgr system is based on teams in colors so you cant use your regular armor you can use the colors brown gold red blue pink and green
