I been hearing that halo 3 will give your 360 the red rings? Is this true because I want to buy it?

It is not true that halo 3 will give the three red rings of death on your xbox. The three red rings are a sign that there is a problem with your xbox communicating with the harddrive.

RRoD is due to a hardware problem. It doesnt matter what game you are playing. So play whatever game you want and if you get the dreaded RRoD call Microsoft. They will fix you right up. This happened to my boyfriend. It's a pain but they will fix the problem. I bought a 360 in January and I havent had any problems with it.

I think what calion meant is that ANY game can cause the rr of death as it is more a system issue rather than a game one,infact 360 that get rr are born with it.

I've used halo 3 on my xbox for months now and I bought my xbox used after it was at least a year old... still no problems.. thank god

one of the ways to get the ring of death (3 red rings) is too play the 360 for very long periods of times
rather than any game could cause the ring of death
