X-box 360 xbox live for halo 3?

is there a way you can select the game type like in the beta instead of all those confusing things like ranked playlists... well i was over at a friends house when he had halo3 b4 me and he somehow managed to get an 8on8 team slayer. i wasnt paying attention on how to do it so thats why im here. HELP!

You have to be the host of the game, and after you choose the map and stuff press X for other options.

just joining a social slayer, or a ranked team slayer will give you those types of things.

It is either that or big team battle on social, the live system picks the games randomly, but a lot are regular slayer games
