Xbox 360 halo 3 edition ebay?

For my sixteenth birthday in october I am going to ask for money then I plan to buy an xbox 360 halo 3 edition off ebay. My question is how reliable is ebay will I get my item? Will it work? What if it doesn't? Can I get a refund or something if it doesn't? how long does it take to ship? As much detail as possible is appreciated ecspecially if you have bought items from ebay.
I want the halo 3 edition because it's cheaper and yes it is check prices. Also I like the look of it duh the whole point of it I don't need an elite too much price for me.

I would not do it they usually sell for 399.99 and it is basically a Pro with a 60GB hardrive and they come with Halo 3. The guy may ask for more because they are kind of hard to get. My self personally bought and Xbox 360 Elite with a 120GB hardrive. It good and has a nice finish all they do is throw a 20 dollar faceplate on it. GO WITH AN ELITE.

I agree with the first answer, to buy an elite. But if you want the HALO 3 Edition and you want to purchase it on ebay, then what you need to do is search the listings... and you need to make sure that the SELLER is a reputable dealer and that he has a lot of positive feedback (the number beside his name in the auction.)

Read the auction to see the return policy which is down at the bottom of the eBay page. It will explain if they accept returns and how long and if they give you a refund or replace the product.
