Halo 3 skull problem?

I'm trying to find all the skulls int he game, and im playing on campain on normal. The only skull out of 3 that gave me G points and said i unlocked it, was the one at the beginning of "the crows nest" on the big pipe.

some skulls are silver which are skulls that if u turn them on you get a bonus in the game, the other ones, gold ones will also do this but give u g points, u turn them on for meta games to get more points.

Gold skulls give you gamer-points, silver skulls don't, I think there is about 4 silver skulls. To get the hayabusha armor, you have to get all of the skulls, gold and silver.

There are 4 silver skulls and 9 gold skulls. Only the gold skulls can give you gamerscore. The silver skull's effects were made for fun, while the gold skull's effects make the game harder.

some of the skulls are silver....... the silver skulls do not get you achievements... do not worry you will still get hayabusa
